Intex & Intel participate in 'Dog Fights Gaming Nights' - the biggest gaming event organized by The History Channel

Intex Technologies (India) Ltd, one of the fastest growing IT hardware, mobile phones & electronics companies, associated with Intel to participate in the popular gaming event 'Dog Fights Gaming Nights' -organised by The History Channel on April 4, 2008 at Cafe Morrison, New Delhi.



The four-hours- long event at Cafe Morrison had a large audience playing the very best electronic arts games on 17 of Intex Platinum Workstations equipped with Intel's Core 2 Quad processor and 15 of Intex TFT-LCD monitors. There were Intex multimedia speakers also playing the music “on demand” in the background.



The History Channel has been organizing the event at various lounges -popular hang-outs amongst youths- across Delhi & Mumbai to bring in together hard core gamers, gaming technicians and youngsters to experience the emerging opportunities and "Real world" Information in global gaming industry.



As per Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Business Manager- PC, Intex, “This activity is one of the multifarious brand building activities which Intel has been carrying out jointly with Intex as a result of the premier channel partnership with Intex for its range of PCs. It is the fifth gaming event where Intex has participated in association with Intel after IITF-Nov, 2007- where we put up a Gaming Zone, SKOAR gaming event at Mumbai in Jan-08 and events at college festivals of Delhi College of Engineering & Punjab Engineering College in Feb & March-08 respectively."



Intex has also been conferred with “INNOVATION CHAMPION” award in Intel Channel Conference (ICC), Dec 2007, held at New Delhi. This award is given to those System Integrators who are investing in higher end technology & making it very affordable to consumers; whose business is showing consistent growth in terms of the offerings in the product mix and brand credibility.
